Here are simple care tips for your clip-in extensions:
Wash your clip-in extensions carefully.
Don’t sleep with wet clip-in hair extensions.
Brush them carefully and with care.
Schedule a weekly conditioning treatment.
Air-dry your clip-in extensions.
Untangle and separate the locks daily.

Clip in extensions can collect residue over time, just like your real hair. Although this doesn’t necessarily mean that your extensions need to be thoroughly washed after every wear. To maintain the condition of your extensions, we recommend washing them every 5th-10th wear.
1) Before you wash your extensions, thoroughly brush them first to make sure there are no tangles.
2) Gently separate each piece and rinse them with lukewarm water.
3) Place a dollop of shampoo specially formulated for treated hair in the palm of your hand.
4) Carefully lather the shampoo into the hair to make sure that you work with one piece at a time. Do not scrub, rub or twist the hair. Carefully is the key word to remember here!
5) The shampoo should be applied to the hair in a downward motion from the top down to the ends.
6) After you’ve lathered, rinse the hair under lukewarm water until all the shampoo is removed.
7) Apply the conditioner and leave it in for about 5 minutes and then rinse.
8) Repeat with each piece in the set.
We also advise our clients on applying a nourishing treatment every month or two.

Yes you can colour tape in extensions. Remy clip-ins can be styled & dyed as your own hair, but they can’t be bleached. Virgin clip-ins can be dyed in a variety of colors and can be bleached.
You might want to test the colour on a few strands first to make sure the resulting shade is what you anticipate.We also recommend using a semi permanent colour as it is much more gentle on the hair extensions. However, all of these processes can affect and reduce the quality of your extensions.

The lifespan of clip in hair extensions varies depending on factors such as hair quality, care routine, and lifestyle. With proper care, Remy clip hair extensions last more than 6 months, Virgin clip hair extensions last more than 12 months.

Section off hair on top. Using the rat-tail comb, make a horizontal part across your scalp about 2 inches above the nape of your neck. Use the large hair clips to secure the hair above the part.
Position hair and secure clips. Position the hair’s clips near the root of your hair and clip down to attach the weft to your natural hair.
Blend with your own hair. Release the hair that was clipped up and blend the extensions together with your natural hair. If you’re using human hair or heat-friendly synthetic extensions, styling your hair with a straightener, curling iron, or blow dryer can help create a more polished look.
