The lifespan of tape extensions varies depending on factors such as hair quality, care routine, and lifestyle. With proper care, Remy tape hair extensions last more than 6 months, Virgin tape hair extensions last more than 12 months.

Yes, you can wash your hair extensions. Shampoo and conditioner are okay, but after washing, use a blow dryer to dry out the areas with the tape ins, and make sure that area is 100% dry. Water or liquid that that sits in your hair extensions can loosen the bond on the tape ins.

Yes you can colour tape in extensions. Remy tape-ins can be styled & dyed as your own hair, but they can’t be bleached. Virgin tape-ins can be dyed in a variety of colors and can be bleached.

You might want to test the colour on a few strands first to make sure the resulting shade is what you anticipate.We also recommend using a semi permanent colour as it is much more gentle on the hair extensions. However, all of these processes can affect and reduce the quality of your extensions.

It is effortless installing tape ins. Take a clean horizontal section of your hair using a fine-toothed comb. Put the tape in on top of the sectioned off hair, and then lay the hair above the tape in on top of the sectioned off hair. Because of the very flat shape of the tape in, the tape ins will look very natural and blend in. Before installing tape ins in my hair, it’s essential to make sure your hair is 99.99% clean and dry. It is challenging for tape ins to bond to oily or damp hair. Also, remember that tape ins are effective the most when installing horizontally, and not tilted to an angle.
